Employment Type: Part-time Contract (6 months)
Overall Job Summary:
The primary role of the accounting clerk will be to act as a liaison between the project Engineering Manager and the accounting department.
Specific Accountabilities:

Responsible on tracking and advising on cash flow related to construction. This will help the CFO in managing cash flow appropriately.

Responsible for building and maintaining a system to track all of the sales taxes paid on various invoices including invoices to our contractors.

Responsible for other special projects as assigned.
Education, Work Experience & Competencies:

CMA/CGA in progress

Minimum 1 – 2 years experience in all primary/major responsibilities.

Above average skills in Excel

Above average skills with accounting software

Ability to prioritize

Strong organizational skills

Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting cycles

Attention to detail

Ability to work with little or no supervision

Understanding of contractual agreements

Firm knowledge of multi-currency transactions
